Infertility in men can be due to low sperm count, poor sperm motility, abnormal shape and size of sperm and/or problems with semen.
Here are some suggestions to improve a man’s fertility:
- Watch your weight
- No smoking
- No drugs, this includes steroids
- Limit alcohol intake
- Limit time in hot tubs to less than 30 minutes
- No lubricants during sex
- Decrease your stress
- Exercise
- Take a multiple vitamin
- Zinc supplement –zinc is essential for sperm formation
- Boxers are better than briefs
- Vitamin C- helps prevent sperm from clumping together. Take 200-1000mg daily.
